Everything is a transaction
Impromptu #1 examines transactions beyond money: exchanges of time, attention, breath, freedom, fear and consequence. Every choice gives something away in order to receive another state of being.
Time can be exchanged for experience; love for vulnerability; freedom for security; attention for meaning. The work treats transaction as a condition of being alive rather than merely an economic act.
The composition gathers cultural and symbolic references into a hand-drawn surreal ecosystem. These fragments do not behave as isolated illustrations; they form the first chapter of a larger physical puzzle that expands through the Tempus Impromptu triptych.
